Ruth Eckerd Hall is proud to present Musical America’s 2009 Musician of the year, “ …the unchallenged cello virtuoso of our time.” He braved the cold to perform for the inauguration of our 44th President. Now Yo-Yo Ma returns to Clearwater to play selections from Bach’s Six Unaccompanied Cello Suites. Mr. Ma’s accomplishments reach far beyond his 15 Grammys® as he explores music as communication and a migration of ideas across time periods and cultures.
