Florida Air Museum

Detail: The Sun 'n Fun Air Museum's name was changed to The Florida Air Museum at Sun 'n Fun in 2002 and continues it commitment for growth, with the goal to continue to expand the facility into the future. The new Florida Air Museum at Sun 'n Fun will serve as the venue for greater involvement and outreach so vital to the world of sport aviation and provide the foundation for future development focusing on the dynamics of all areas of aviation.

The second phase in this growth is envisioned to complete the final step in the process of evolution toward a full aviation education center, addressing the needs of the 21st century.

The Florida Air Museum at Sun 'n Fun will consist of 100,000 square feet of display, restoration, educational, and administrative spaces. A four-story, central core facility will be joined with the Museum Exhibit Wing to house a variety of aviation displays and aviation artifacts with emphasis on innovation.
